Director:

Lori Cohen is the Director of the office of University Life at the Arlington Campus. In this role she works collaboratively with academic student services administrators to identify and address student needs. The University Life & Academic Services office coordinates the provision of non-academic services on campus, including Counseling & Psychological Services, Sexual Assault Services, International Programs & Services, the English Language Institute, Disability Services, Student Health Services, The Writing Center, and Student Financial Aid. University Life & Academic Services at Arlington strives to build community on campus through the implementation of professional development, co-curricular, and social programming. Lori has been with George Mason University since April 2005 and has been at the Arlington Campus since March 2007. She holds a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, an M.A. from the University of Minnesota, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Educational Policy with George Mason University’s College of Education and Human Development.
Administrative Staff:

Wendi Carroll is the Office Manager for University Life at the Arlington Campus. In this role, Wendi manages the budget, serves as the point person for caterers and vendors, and assists with overall operations and stategic planning for the office. Wendi has been with George Mason since September 2007. She holds a B.A. in Human Services and M.A. in Education and Human Development from George Washington University.
Nelly Mobula is the graduate student assistant for University Life at the Arlington Campus. In this role she helps to build community on campus through the marketing and promotion of events, working with student organizations, and supporting the day to day operations of the office. Nelly holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Arizona and is pursuing an M.S. in Peace Operations with the School of Public Policy here at George Mason University.
Michael Perini is interning with University Life at the Arlington Campus during the Spring of 2009. His work in and around the office will fulfill requirements for his M.A.I.S. Higher Education/Student Services practicum here at George Mason University. Michael has a B.A. in Classics and History and an M.A. in History, both from the University at Buffalo.
