University Life on the Fairfax Campus

Most of the division of University Life and Student Services offices on the Fairfax campus are housed in Student Union Building I (SUB I): University Life Central offices, Student Conduct, the Office of Student Success and Case Management, Academic Integrity, the Dean of Students, Graduate Student Services, Technology Integration, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Learning Services, Women, Alchohol,and Violence Education and Services (WAVES), University Career Services, the Transition Resources Center, Academic Advising, Disabiity Services, the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Multiculural Education (ODIME), Student Health Services, and the Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Queer and Questioning Resources, the Registrar, Financial Aid, Enrollment Services and the Cash Office (Enrollment Central), and the Early Identification Program.

In the Johnson Center, Student Centers runs the show and our partners at the Women and Gender Studies Center and the Graduate Student Lounge and Study Room share a corner of the building on the second floor.

The Student Union 2, known as the HUB, is the hub of student engagement, hosting the offices of Student Involvement, Leadership Engagement and Development (LEAD), Orientation and Family Programs and Services, Off Campus Student Service, and Student Media.

Offices of Housing and Resident Life is well distributed across the university residential neighborhoods, Recreation Sports across the fitness and sports complexes.

Dining Services hosts 25 restaurants, kiosks and carts on the Fairfax campus (see dining.gmu.edu)

University Life provides services, support activities and opportunities for learning and engagement in the university experience for the entire university community.
