In case of an emergency, dial 911 from an on campus or cellular phone. If dialed from a campus phone, campus police will be the first responders. If dialing from an outside or mobile phone, let the dispatcher know that you are on the George Mason University Campus.
Be prepared with your location (address of your building), and brief description of the emergency. Please provide the dispatcher the condition of the patient, if they are experiencing breathing difficulties, bleeding of any kind and answer any questions you may be asked when you call. This information is important to get the necessary help dispatched to your location quickly. Do not hang up until help arrives!
