Hunger and Homelessness

Hunger can be a problem among college students. We in University Life are committed to ensuring students in need have access to food. The Pop Up Pantry is available for students who need access to food. For an appointment, email us at If you have never accessed the pantry, plan on an extra ten minutes for an intake chat.

Sometimes, students find themselves in need of emergency housing support. If you are in that situation, please contact Student Support at 703.993.5376.

We envision George Mason University, having declared itself a Well-being institution, acts with care and compassion to facilitate the success of the whole student, being mindful of their basic needs for food and shelter.
