Each year in November, George Mason University celebrates the Native American and Indigenous Heritage Month. This year we celebrated the 12th annual Veterans Day Powwow.
On Tuesday November 11th 2014, the Native American & Indigenous Alliance and the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Multicultural Education hosted this celebration in Dewberry Hall. This traditional gathering combines music, dance and art. It also provides an occasion for native and non-native students to share and learn about the diverse cultures of the Americas.
