Mason Solidarity

Events in Support of Black Lives

The GMU Solidarity Project emerged from the recent murder of George Floyd on May 25, 2020, at the hands of Minneapolis Police officers. We saw a ripple affect across the globe in taking action against racism and police brutality. At George Mason University, many community members sprang into action to create spaces for processing, opportunities for learning and connection as well as on-going initiatives that will live beyond this moment.
