Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts – Mason Gives Back

Mason Gives Back: illustration of green and gold hands holding each other in the shape of a heart

The LEAD Office and SAIL (Social Action and Integrative Learning) have been working together to provide resources for students, faculty, and staff looking for ways to help support the Hurricane Harvey Relief efforts. For those in the Mason community who wish to contribute to relief efforts, we are encouraging folks to check out the Mason Gives Back Website at http://masongivesback.onmason.com/hurricane-harvey/ for a list of resources and organizations. In addition, Mason is partnering with the Virginia Department of Transportation (Fairfax Office) and Victory Van Corporations to respond to some immediate needs of those most affected. We will be collecting bottled water, diapers (all sizes), toilet paper, and tissues. We are asking that all items be delivered to the LEAD Office (The Hub, Room 2400) by 10am on Thursday, September 7th.

We greatly appreciate any help and support you can offer. If you have any questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate contact Lisa Snyder, Associate Director for Leadership Education and Development at lsnyder2@gmu.edu.
