Mason’s New Grads Heading into Positive Job Market

George Mason University’s May graduates are heading into a positive job market, but competition is still strong, so they need to make sure they’re adequately prepared, according to data from George Mason’s University Career Services.

Employers expect greater turnover in 2015, and this most likely indicates the American worker has renewed confidence in finding a good job, said Christine Cruzvergara, assistant dean and executive director of Career Services.

“Students will face competition against those with more work experience and possibly greater networks,” Cruzvergara said.
