Patriot Pack Out Donations Top Eight Tons

The numbers are in and George Mason University’s Patriot Pack Out charity drive was a huge success with donations of 6,000 pounds of nonperishable food items and 10,640 pounds of clothes and small appliances.

The total, 16,640 pounds, is 61 percent more than in 2014, said Christian Barber, assistant director of residence life, who coordinated the program with Steven Flutsch, coordinator of membership and web for Mason Recreation.
