Spring Career Fair Brings 180 Employers to Mason

Employers are hiring, and college students need to be ready.

A recent Michigan State University survey found that hiring for bachelor’s degrees has reached a 16 percent nationwide growth rate.

Mason students can meet with more employers from 180 companies at the Spring 2015 Career Fair on the Fairfax Campus, in the Johnson Center’s Dewberry Hall from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, and Thursday, Feb. 19.

“The spring fair was the quickest to reach employer capacity in the past 10 years,” says Jennifer Pollard, assistant director for Trends, Assessments and Communications in University Career Services. “This shows that employers are confident about the economy and dedicating more time, effort and budget to college recruiting.”
