George Mason University will kick off its six-week celebration of Spring into Well-Being with Good Deeds Day on Thursday, an event dedicated to highlighting the selfless acts of others.
The celebration is designed to support and grow the interdisciplinary science of well-being and how it can improve the lives of the college’s community of employees, students and alumni. Well-being is also one of the university’s strategic goals.
This is the second year for both Good Deeds Day and Spring into Well-Being. Good Deeds activities will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the North Plaza of the Fairfax Campus. Organizers of Spring into Well-Being will distribute swag bags and Good Deeds Day shirts in the plaza.
