University Life has a new protocol and software for communicating announcements, as a result of institutional changes and UL staff feedback. Announcements from all UL units will be sent in the UL BULLETIN, listing each announcement sequentially along with the unit or program name, and the URL to the event or information source.
UL Bulletin will be distributed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday when the University is open. The submission deadline is 12 noon, the day before the intended distribution.
UL Bulletin Submission Requirements:
- Submission title
- Artwork in PNG format (if applicable)
- Introductory sentence (1-2 lines)
- Information on date, time, and location
- Include 3-4 bullet points on the ‘Key Points’ of the submission (see sample submission)
- A link for more information to Mason360, Eventbrite, website, etc.
- Alt Text or Text Descriptions for any included
images/graphics/artwork
