The University Life Advisory Board is made up of community members and business leaders committed to serving these primary roles: 1) advise and assist the Vice President for University Life in advancing University Life’s Mission and Goals; 2) to serve as advocates (i.e., ambassadors) for University Life’s mission, core values, and diverse academic programs externally; 3) identify and cultivate major donors, corporate sponsors, foundations and others to support University Life programs and services; 4) to participate on Advisory Board committees or working groups and on special projects designed to advance the strategic priorities of University Life;. And 5) to partner with the Vice President for University Life and staff in creating outreach programs and collaborative partnerships that ultimately benefit University Life and the students at George Mason University.
The UL Advisory Board plans the annual Diversity Scholarship Golf Classic, raising funds for over twenty six years, for the Early Identification Program and Student Transition and Empowerment Programs
